Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your address, so the right local installer gets your request
- What the turf is for: front yard, backyard, putting green, dogs or a play area
- Roughly how big the area is, if you know
- What's there now: living grass, dirt, gravel or rock
- Whether you're applying for the water district's grass incentive or have an HOA
Planning a lawn-to-turf conversion? If you want the Washington County Water Conservancy District's incentive, apply and wait for the district's approval email before any grass comes out. Starting early can make the project ineligible.
